The rules definitely changed at this bank regarding estate accounts. Hit up a branch and a junior guy needs the supervisor to tell me it's only with the executor and not me. Whereas before they just freely printed out bank statements for me. Now I have wait for my mother to get a secure e-mail so I can get the number and stick it on the form for revised/updated estate taxes.
Rather glad this is the last transaction before filing the final tax return.

At least you aren’t a Canadian selling to American people on eBay who return things or refuse to pay duty because their President told them the tax should be on other countries and paid by foreigners.
On the flip side my brother’s mother in law spent a lot of time buying Canadian handmade crafts for her sister and when she sent it by post they got hit with a tariff.

4 1/2 hours of calling eBay with 3 different numbers trying to get the chat bot to get me into right queue (i.e. not Philippines or random smuck in the States)
I got a free Macbook air for moving one of my investment holdings to another institution. I sold it on ebay. Guy received it. Then wanted a return alleging I sent a bunch of rocks that don't fit in the box and is obviously way heavier than a Macbook air.
I am now out the computer plus the $1.2k from the sale
