The War With ISIS/ISIL

Yeah mate but again - where are the Iraqis, Syrians, Russians or Americans? Nobody seems to be finishing off the caliphate.
 
The war was fought and won by the YPG-YPJ, start to finish. It seems fitting that the so-called allies aren’t even bothering to show up for the final victory. Probably because the media won’t be there.

I recall the US had some participation in the reclaiming of Mosul. At least I remember a US general describing it as the most intense urban combat since Stalingrad.

The problem is the son will become a rallying cry for assorted jihadists in the UK of which there are great many. She will be welcomed and feted in her community as well. The spineless decadent legal system in the UK will fail to prosecute and if it does, jail time will be minimum and then she will be enroled on the local deradicalisation program run by the local imam. She will ne lavished with free council housing and welfare from the Brit tax payer. There is zero chance in the British system that she will be deradicalized.

Better that she and her offspring are handed over to the Iraqis who have the death penalty for war crimes and that kind of thing. Her child should be offered for adoption with all link to the parents eradicated.

Something has gone on behind the scenes as all of a sudden, with the exception of Sweden who give their returning jihadis an apartment and welfare, the western nations have all of a sudden grown some back bone and rescinded the nationalities of these creatures. Either some intel has been doing the rounds and/or they've realised that there should be no link left alive to the Islamic State to become a rallying cry behind in the ghettos of the west.

I am of the opinion that no member of the Islamic State be left alive with the exception of children who should be in orphanages with all history of the parenthood destroyed, so they have no knowledge of the evil that born them. The problem of course is that this closes the chapter conveniently for those who would like us to forget how Islamic the Islamic State was.

People weren't really stoned in the Islamic State. People didn't even use their weapon to shoot people. It's like no one is a Nazi inside WW2 Germany.

Sounds a bit odd. If it's so easy to do, why doesn't everyone being stoned just "get up and run away", in that case?

Which is why I'm alluding to the analogy where in postwar Germany you couldn't find 1 Nazi or SS amongst 10 Germans.

The evidence is already out there: no one got to get away from the horror of the Islamic State.

Very interesting on how several, although not all, western European states have rescinded nationalities without any concern over leaving an individual stateless. Knowing how cowardly they normally are, one is left with suspicion that any living evidence of the Islamic State is an inconvenient truth i.e. how Islamic the Islamic State really was.
 
I read somewhere that's how the SDF are approaching it. They lift the ceasefire and say it's the final assault, advance a little bit, then declare a ceasefire and see if anyone wants to leave. Last time they did that they said there weren't that many so I reckon that hold outs are the die hards.
 


They keep saying there are tents and things. Upon retreat do the ISIS forces pack up their baggage train and keep retreating?

Some of the females were fighting up on the front line in their full burka glory, there's video of them on today's MailOnline running across the battlefield and hiding in trenches. Pathetic. They can hardly move. I wonder if any of them have realised they've been sold a pup. The ones in the camps seem very proud that they remain the bitches of the Islamic State.

Some of the Brits who have been fighting with the Kurds have been having trouble getting back into the UK and are being prosecuted. Nothing unusual there, one would expect this from that anarcho-state.

There was an interesting article in today's L.A. Times that those plucky little jihadists of the Islamic State are on the comeback trail. I gather they are feeding on dissatisfaction in northern Iraq with Shiite rule. I have read elsewhere that many are starting to remember almost fondly life under the Caliphate compared to the corruption and misrule of the Iraqi government. Crazy, bloodthirsty bastards the votaries of the so-called Caliphate are, to be sure, but you've got to admire their courage, tenacity and determination.

Are people daft? After 5 years of defeating ISIS let's lob artillery where they're jailed? Hopefully scorched earth tactics will come back to haunt Turkey as they cross the border to rearm and regroup.

There was another story where the foreign women are now motivated to attack prison guards and torch camps.
 
Not just any ISIS prisoner, the leader responsible for planning the massacre of 87 people in Paris was freed by their Turkish allies in Serêkanîyê.
