Anyone willing to give the high-tech angle a try?

I'm old fashioned.

These things have come and gone over the years.

As someone who has to assess human figures for a living, I can tell you that these scanners can't replace the experienced eyes of a decent tailor.
People tend to change their posture in front of a mirror, and I'm sure it's no different in a scanner cabin.
I'm afraid when these machines take over we'll see even more collos americanos™.

Yes, but they will be incredibly precise collos americanos!

wait. are you really a working tailor? i always assumed you were a hobbyist / home sewer. I guess it was the association with the aussie Sator forum that left that impression

When it all started there were only working tailors on the C&T (except Sator).
Fun fact, Sator started the forum after M. Alden shut down (and deleted) the tailor's section of the LL.
Reason: Server load!

Did you to go to Naples for your high studies in Alta Sartoria? did you get the degree ?

Without wishing to discuss or take as a recurring theme, but talking together, the driving test is more or less the same throughout Europe, tailoring in Italy is the really demanding only where some do not ever exceed rather than in Spain where I say, nor would enter even in one of the Italian schools and less true that quality and I say knowingly because I have done tests Camiseria and are really hard. As I say any garment Langa Burgos or pass any test achieved, in fact anyone who have taught photos credits even that "it" can be sold and less at those prices. They are not as garments, bags of rice are set which is unlike anything the client's body. Why? Or they use standard patterns which fit collars and long sleeves and seeing Langa, and the last thing it has too many feet up on the sleeves and truth.

Burgos, do not even know how to correct the different positions of shoulders, that to begin with. In fact, in an interview with the cutter, and also boasting he said he had learned in 15 days when it needed for years and years. Given the making ...

I remember I gave a talk invited in Rome for a club of haute couture with some of the best tailors in Italy and projected pictures of all these, they could not believe the aberrations they saw as a surgeon can not be taken seriously a tarotista that "healthy" cancer or other laying hands. When translated sentences spoken by them as I have stated, the laughs were Ordago. it is time to be putting in place these paid himself abusers ignorance of the majority of its customers, the IBEX 35 or politicians whose costumes we all pay.

Caccioppoli jacket order yesterday during fitting. Vivid blue with navy windowpane, 40% wool, 30% silk, 30% linen. 1/2 lined with patch pockets. For scorching summertime here.

Finally decided shawl lapel? Nice. I think I just gotta get two jackets, one peak SB midnight, one shawl in a fun fabric.

First fitting for new mohair with psychedelic lining.

formby formby should appreciate.

Very nice, with Peak Lapels too. I approve.

The slanted pockets and ticket pocket are a Mod touch, especially so in Mohair. Peak lapels not so Mod. I like slanted pockets meself, they add a sporty feel to a jacket.

The blue looks quite vivid, it'll look nice in the bright summer months.

I noticed that its a 2-button. Any reason why you didn't go for a 1-button?

What shirts you planning on wearing with that? May I suggest you keep it very simple, Mohair is a very crisp, sharp fabric that doesn't need much assistance. The suits the star here....
