Big thanks to DHL & Canada Customs for crushing my package from Won Hung Lo. Nicely flattened collos. It is a shame Won Hung was out of all burgundy fabrics. Had to settle for Blue & pink

So, you got a parcel from a guy named Hung Lo?
I'm sure the customs people expected something else when they checked the parcel! :drevil:

Well, that is the name I made up for him for fun. I know my tailor but who knows who is doing the grunt work in the back rooms in Hong Kong

Hand rimmed yes but fewer hand passes Than LKP LKP 's shirtmaker or SartoShirts

Well, it's almost impossible to have more, isn't it?
Rumour has it that Sarto makes his shirts in a dungeon that is exempt from the laws of physics, which allows him to do all those hand stitches, as time doesn't matter. That's why he appears so young, too. He should look more like this:

Ordered a bespoke pair of trousers in light tan made from a 17 oz Huddersfield cavalry tweed wool fabric.

I never mention names of tailors online as a rule. I am not going to mention whether l use him or not, he is just a guy l decided to post the work of:

You like?

Ignore the bottom pic of the suit in the middle, there is no accounting for bad taste. He needed padding in that suit to build the shoulders up, too many i-gents with sloped shoulders make that mistake and and end up looking like milk bottles.

Look at the suit on the left in the bottom pic, now THAT is a suit.

Notice the clean fits and also how good they fit around the neck area. The coats don't come off the back of the neck like with many other makes of bespoke because of the unique way he cuts them.

Rule of thumb: If you over-communicate exactly what it is you’re looking for, and you measure three times / record once, you will have a very high chance of success the first time around.

Anyone willing to give the high-tech angle a try?

Does the robot also cut a completely custom made pattern according to a specified style? Until we get there, this will be useless. It'll be a good/cheap replacement for all the ageing Neapolitan tailors when the time comes though.

Scifi mostly imagined us in uniforms, but it's more likely that nearly everything will be custom made.

When MFDoom offered me work when building his SuperVillian underground headquarters, he provided RTW jumpsuits. Had to get mine done bespoke as his were just shabby
