That's just awful
^ The "bullhead" style?
I think that Seiko recently re-released a version of their classic 1970s bullhead chrono.
If I remember correctly, Omega also re-released a version of their bullhead chrono from the 1970s, too, but as with most Omega re-releases, it had been unnecessarily "jazzed up" and was also overpriced.
Yeah, I concurI quite like the case shape - although it's an acquired taste - but the dial design looks like a roulette wheel!
Agreed. I've seen plenty of better looking models. Plus, I thought you were going to buy my watch?proportions are all off imo. look at the hands. shiney indicators. pass
imo, not so bad in real life. went with a citizen for my beach watch, though.proportions are all off imo. look at the hands. shiney indicators. pass

OK - JM and others. I have never paidanymuch attention to watches other than to note tacky big clunky "sports" "diving" watches and expanding metal bands in meeetings. I have around 6 watches with a mixture of NATO and brown leather bands. All white face except one.
I'm thinking of a black leather band. Edgy hey? Is there a rule of black leather band with silver watch - brown leather with gold?
I don't care too much about the rule - but I can't picture if a black band with gold watch looks aesthetically off or askew. Any help?
I don't want to buy another watch and my dressiest watches are gold. I suppose I could just buy a black leather band and try it - but I must be losing my touch with old age - so I'm asking my anonymous internet best buddies. Just like a Foodles.
It is supposed to look like this;proportions are all off imo. look at the hands. shiney indicators. pass
You would seriously buy a watch called "Two-Timer"?
It is supposed to look like this;

LKP please send the kgb after this man for such desecration and social danger
When I was young, the father of one of my best friends had a strap like that, but it even had another piece that clipped over the watch itself to protect the watch from scratches and dings.
He was one of the most "manly" men I've ever known. A qualified electricial and carpenter, he largely built his family's home himself. He was a keen hunter and fisherman and could skin and field-dress a carcass with ease. He had a private pilot's license and used to fly his kids to remote cattle stations in western Queensland during school holidays, where he'd take them hunting for wild pigs and foxes. When I was fourteen, he sent my friend and I off into the wilderness near their place with a sealed envelope, map, compass, water and rations for three days and told us that he'd see us when we got back. When we opened the enveloped, we discovered that we had to hike about 15 miles through rough terrain to the shores of a lake, retrieve something that he'd deliberately left there for us in a cairn of rocks, and then return home again. Of course, this was well before anyone had mobile phones or EPIRB beacons.
So, if you're a hipster-doofus who wants to look like an urban lumberjack with a watch strap like that, then definitely LKP should send the FSB after you. But if you're like my friend's dad, and you lead an active life and actually have a reason to protect your watch, then it's OK - although I personally don't like the way it looks.
I totally agree with what you're saying, function over form and so forth. A whole different game is a hipster driving a G55 in a well off area that has no need for anything like that. I shall seat down and read over the news the newest person killed by Polonium thanks to our KGB liasonLKP
What was the name of your father's friend? Crocodile Dundee?
I don't see the point of this type of straps and I don't think I ever will. If you have the end to protect the watch in such way you could wear a different model. Erg. A casio g shock.
