It opens at 9am for Boxing Day, but I went by again and they closed tonight. They ought to say "24 hours with reservations".
So I thought I left my aunt's place around 23:30 last night. We had one hour of cocktail time, then an hour or so of dinner, then an hour or so of opening gifts. It was 2100 by the time we officially finished. My parents went home and a lot of us lingered to have a digestif. What happened then was the opening of two more bottles of bubbly, one more bottle of red and finishing of the beer and 4/5 of a bottle of single malt - at least that's the state I saw it before I lost track of it.
When I woke up and had breakfast, my mother asked me what happened after she left and I acted quite reserved as I usually am, "Nothing much happened. We didn't talk about much. Then I went home."
What apparently happened was this:
One of my cousins said she was drunk, but said okay, let's split another bottle of red. She couldn't drive home. She couldn't even get to bed upstairs. Her husband apparently said she's too big to drag upstairs so he dragged her to a sofa and left her there.
One of the cousin's husbands was a beer drinker. I bought the beer he wanted but only three cans and afterwards, peer pressure meant he started indulging in wines and hard liquor. For the latter portion of the night, he was staring at his drink rocking back and forth saying, "Oh God, I shouldn't have done this. I should have stuck with the beer. I shouldn't have mixed..."
Finally, one of my other cousin's was notable for his increasingly loud volume of speech. About 10 decibels higher every thirty minutes he was on peak alcohol.
I feel like Bacchus being such a bad influence on everyone.
