While we didn’t spend a lot of time together, we kept in touch over the years and I considered John a friend. He was brave and uncompromising in his ideals. He could be a lot of fun as well.

If we had followed the precedents of the Nuremburg Trials--that planning and waging an aggressive war was a crime against humanity and a hanging offense--then it seems to me that Dick, along with Condi, Rummie and the Bushman himself--all deserved have their necks stretched by a rope for their roles in the invasion of Iraq!
