"A conversational narcissist is an individual who consistently redirects conversations back to themselves, their experiences, and their interests, often dominating discussions while showing little genuine interest in others."

I know more than a few of these.

For a while, I leaned too heavily on trying to empathise in conversations - building a conversational bridge by describing something similar that happened to me. It could come off as narcissistic. So now I’m more circumspect, adding that I can relate because something similar happened to me. No details or elaboration unless they ask for it.

The women showing up for this Cardi B concert down the street from me are beyond the term thick. You would think a former stripper would atrract pole dancers.

Never thought there was a whole cottage industry of chain restaurants, buffets, strip clubs and hotels with convention space near the airport.
