Hey Noodles Noodles , you are paying $2K for Formosa, why are you not looking at Chan or someone like that for bespoke? Would be slightly more but at least they won't fuck up your measurements and do nothing
 
He said it may indeed have been mislabeled and that he will talk to the folks at Formosa. But also asked me to delete any negative comments about Formosa. All this before today's bombshell.

Well, glad I was able to say what I wanted to say. I hope people see my post and his angry response before ordering. Nice way to end a customer relationship who's handed you $8,000.

Has Greg acknowledged on SF that the suit size was mislabeled or cut to the wrong dimensions? Or was it "I'll check with Formosa" via PM?

I can see how SF members want to see the end of this but it is beyond me why Greg has not said "bad suit. Yup."

Some people who have changed their gender can be very aggressive. Like that Tur lady who threatened Ben Shapiro recently. Grabbed him, threatened him, and later said she wanted to "curb stomp" him.

Noodles Noodles - I agree with Monkeyface's suggestion.

Unless Greg of NMWA is willing to offer you a partial refund or store credit for part of the cost of the suit, I think that the best course of action would be to sell the suit and to get something in the right size.

Given what seems to have transpired on SF over the past 12 hours or so, it seems doubtful that Greg would be willing to offer a partial refund or store credit (although I haven't read through all of the thread), so selling the suit is your best bet.

On a separate, albeit related, note I think that this situation shows the downside of the "affiliate" relationship with SF. On the one hand, if something goes seriously wrong (such as with ToJ or, to a lesser extent, with Passaggio Cravatte), then SF has no power to do anything and Fok largely washes his hands of things and makes ineffectual suggestions. On the other hand, when something goes wrong, affiliates expect to get favoured treatment and to get off lightly because they're paying cash to SF. As a consequence, customers who have been poorly done by end up feeling that they have little to no recourse - SF isn't going to help, even though Fok takes cash from the affiliates, and the affiliates get favoured treatment and don't seem to feel that they have to do anything to help as they're largely a protected species.
 
Regardless, that conversation in GNAT is over. They can start a new thread if they want.

monkeyman, here are some answers, but you probably know this already:

NMWA : over priced, over hyped brands (formosa, edios), use of known shills (in stiches), protected SF affiliate, etc... Conclusion, buyer beware.

majority of SF community : sheep,

Dieworkwear : believes he is an important member of sheep community, like he has a responsibility to the community, like some sort of chinamen ladiboy sheep herder, obbessed with drape cut, napoleon complex.

fok : capitalist, only interest in menswear is $, just trying to keep the gravy train running

@noodles : glad you got a nice warm welome here, but only a fool gives stuff to tailor to alter without trying it on first for yourself and then second for the tailor. Almost everyone here has an axe to grind with SF or some of their affliates, but you are still a cunt until proven otherwise.

I post facts about getting a mislabeled jacket. Greg throws in a distractor about me initiating a chargeback. I didn't do it and he got paid. Then he publicly callse a habitual liar and a thief. All because I complained. Greg only takes compliments?

Well, SF used to be a place where honesty was valued, but Stitch turned it into a shiny happy place and Fok et al went along with his vacuous back-slapping posts and "Wai u hurt me bro?" PM's when people disagree. So now, as with North Korea, Dissent is No Longer Tolerated and Affiliate Vendors are Coddled, because SF (Fok) is all about Revenue.
