What do you want at this stage? A Go Pro video of me going to their house and harassing Drew's dad?

How exactly do you propose "going after Drew's assets" in a way that does not involve legal action?

I think Pauly is saying that the collective opinion on this matter should be to assume there will be no jackets or no refunds at all and that people should go hard to pop Drew's world like a zit which might force him out of the shadows. Still might not accomplish anything but right now he still has the upper hand over 100's of people.

You are correct, I could give a flying fuck about the outstanding orders and the money that was lost. I offered some tips to clarify things and I only got picked apart. So here you go:

Don't be forgiven and don't relent.

Continue to put the pressure on the restaurant via media and the internet.

I am sure there are some computer nerds who can dig up personal information of Drew, if that's his real name, and locate his family and start calling (not harassing).

I actually texted Drew's picture last night to my Korean friends to find out what his real name is. How do you suppose go after someone if you don't know his legal name.

I am not a savior nor do I give a fuck. I feel bad towards a few members who legitimately want help/advice that got ignored in that clusterfuck of a thread.

Exactly.

The problem is all of this down under the table. Do people really think getting the IRS involved is a smart idea with this type of massive transaction. If I were the TOJ customers, the last thing I want is the government's involved in this matter. The entire SF board can come apart if they decide to investigate and notice massive online transactions have taken place without a single penny paid to Uncle Sam

No one is thinking rationally and productively. Everyone wants everyone else to do the work and hope for a miracle. A few members threw some feasible approaches that can be taken immediately to force Drew out of the shadows and we got laughed at and picked apart.

Spaghettimatt have you thought about why in the world DWW would involve himself in this legal matter? To do SF a favor for free? Front the legal fees so collectively you guys can get a lawyer? Come on, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see through the smoking mirror.

Read my second point in the post. Gather everyone who has outstanding orders. One person populates transaction data, one person searches for Drew's legal info, and a third person continually to put the heat on. Once everything is in place, then decide a sensible approach.
 
Only a few days in and up to 182 people now defrauded, looks like this will end up over quarter mill.

I couldn't disagree more. You guys are in there flailing like a drowning fat lady in a 3 feet of water: everyone is looking at you guys wondering why you can't just stand up and stop the histrionics.

The information being provided and sussed out is good fodder for legal action. Only you guys can really decide what that action is, but if you are sitting back waiting for DWW to solve that for you, then it won't go anywhere.

The fundamental problem is that you guys waited an eternity to take action, and second, you guys all seem to have the belief that the money is gone. You have no factual basis for this belief, and you guys seem to be using it as a reason to complain endlessly about the situation instead of getting after this guy.

Lots of folks have stepped forward and made really good suggestions, but you guys seem committed to ignoring them in favor of self destructive choices. I strongly advise you to stick around here for a while and get outside help because that thread is hopeless.

Actually, there's a business opportunity there. These many orders and fanbois, and you can shit all over them and they still want jackets? Someone should buy the him out and take it over. They'd wait knowing there is new management and new blood. And the orders get in. Win win.

Styleforum members don't care about their money, they'd rather live in eternal hope that somewhere in Korea their jackets will someday be made. I thought this time round, there'd be real change coz reality sunk in. BUt I am clearly the stupid one for thinking so.


    Personally I think @dieworkwear is too soft on Drew, but if Drew wanted to seriously salvage the situation he would have contacted him days ago because he's really one of the few people to actually try to organize everyone else.

    I need to give thumb ups to this dude.
