Tried the Killian old fashioned. Much more feminine than I was expecting. The dry down was very powdery and kind of had a sort of absinthe tint to it. Would not recommend.

Tried the Tom Ford Black Lacqeur again. Man, that is some POTENT shit. I’m honestly considering that for our next group buy.
 
Some decent sales out there for black friday. If anyone has any wants I'm always open to running another split.

Apparently, its exclusive to them for the next month and then its going to be spreading around.

Very impressive its kind of a cross between an Italian scent like TF Neroli Portofino and a medium strength oud. God several compliments on it and it had very good lasting power.
 
Been trying out some of the Initio fragrances at the local neiman marcus. Nothing has really jumped out at me so far but last night I tried out Oud for Happiness and I have to admit its pretty sexy. The oud and cedar make for a kind of woody/oudy drydown. Its nothing extraordinary or REALLY unique, but I think it makes for a very nice everyday type of oud. Very long lasting as well. I can still smell it on both of my arms at 1pm after spraying it at 6pm last night.

I still need to try their oud for greatness and the sales rep recommended their oud for greatness NEO and high frequency. I didn't like side effect, addictive vibration, or rehab. If you like lavender, rehab might be a good choice for you. Apparently, its very popular here locally.
 
No one's posting smells any longer? I guess the repeated covid infections have killed everyone's sense of smell.

If any of you guys are still in to smelling nice, I've got a metric fuck ton of gift cards to Saks and I want to use them up before they possibly go out of business. If there's anything you are interested in splitting up, let me know. There's a fancy new Parfums De Marly Valero that smells INCREDIBLE but its $550 and that's more than a little insane. I enjoy reading your posts in this thread and still smell all I can when stuck at Duty Free in the airport, but I have more than enough for now.

I read that millennials are embracing scents and boosting the market, but my experience is far fewer people wearing them. Banned on lots of workplaces. I do get the odd compliment when I wear something, but also a comment about how rare it is to smell a man in cologne in the daytime.
 
I've fobbed off much of my fragrances and don't need any more. Now I rotate between:

Mancera - Cedrat Boise, Red Tobacco, Lemon & mint oud
Tom Ford - Tobacco Vanille, Vert des Bois
Creed - GIT
Frederik Malle - Vetiver Extraordinare
CDG - Zagorsk
 
My dailies are pretty stable and boring atm. I'm planning to do a trip to Paris in the fall, I want to stop by Nose and Samaritaine, and hopefully pick up one or two additions.

Every time I go to the mall all the testers are empty and the reps bitch up and down about how the kids are coming and spraying themselves like 5 times each. Of course, they are also buying this expensive dogshit, so I guess they can’t complaint TOO much.
