The Next Election, Political News, and Other Forms of Comedy (US, UK, & Intl)

So I estimate it's better than even odds that Trump is only dangling a douchebag like Kavanaugh out there to cause a media storm to distract from the 3.8 Trillion dollar additional tax cut the House just passed.

The allegations are pretty much unravelling now with Dr Ford's ex wading in on her knowledge of polygraph tests and lack of credibility from claustrophobia, flying, etc, etc, etc........and Julie Swetnick's allegations of gang rape seem nothing more that an aspect of her neurosis that craves attention with outlandish boasts and claims before she engages in group sex with several men at once allegedly.

A sad spectacle that the Democrats would stoop so low to take advantage of the weak and feeble minded, or engage in the case of the good Dr what looks like spectacular and epic concoction to discredit an innocent man and destroy his family for political gain. The depravity of the Left continues without shame it seems.

If they prove the credit card fraud, she's toast:

LOLz on the exchange.

Repeal Roe vs. Wade, let the state decide. Federal courts shouldn't even decide issues like that.

Amy Schumer got arrested during an anti-Kavanough protest.
I guess she has some spare time after her last film flopped really bad.

Meanwhile, Western globalist governments are still trying to blame Russia for everything, but mostly for trying to destroy their "democracies" and ripping off their citizens via phishing e-mails.
Given that it is the UK government that is at the forefront of this farce it doesn't surprise me how they handle the Brexit matter.

And it case you missed this gem:

The confirmation of Kavanaugh as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court: A great day for the entitled white hetero male patriarchy, the preppy nation and the gun culture. A bad day for women (especially their reproductive rights), the poor, people of color, immigrants and LGBTIQ, in all probability. And I say...

LET THERE BE CELEBRATION!!!!

^Y' don't think I was being a little tongue in cheek with the foregoing post--like Kavanaugh was going to be a great boon for the "preppy nation" (whatever that may be). etc.?

But, yes, I am happy he got in. I am also dismayed about Taylor Swift. I never believed she was "Queen of the Aryans" or anything of that sort, but I liked her for being non-political. However, since she segued from Country to Pop, I haven't paid as much attention to her.

I'm not sure she was ever what I would call country. But everything since George Strait is not really country to me.

My cousin-in-law is a country singer. Not quite to the point where it’s his full-time gig (he’s working on his Ed.D), but it’s getting close. At his wedding, he and his best men wore giant belt buckles, jeans, cowboy boots, and there was a lot of line dancing. Another cousin of mine, a New York socialite, JD from Cornell corporate lawyer, etc was hilariously upset. I think she was actually offended by the display. I had had some edibles, so I had a great time watching both the dancing and my cousin’s reaction to her new inlaw.

Her wedding is next. 35k on a diamond ring. She insisted for status reasons. Fucking destination wedding too. It’s gonna be a lot less fun I bet. I’ll find a way to have a good time with the hoity toity types. Probably hang out with the staff. Or, you know, my family depending on the stage of the evening. I’m allowed to be a bit of an embarrassment, but I mustn’t go overboard.

Ha. My cousin marrying a literal cowboy was fucking great though.

''Preppy nation'' = the Brooks Brothers gentleman and lady?

She's only a pop singer and as with all pop singers who want to be taken seriously, she must declare her liberal credentials.

Lawyers are offended whenever they're in a bro bono scenario.

It's self evident: socialism and communism doesn't work and the Brazilians are not dumb enough to go for Venezuela Part II. But the question of course is, are the Brits?

Meanwhile, in the USA, the blue wave looks less and less likely as white cis-women now join the toxic classification of white men/flyover dwellers, etc, etc:

If anyone thinks the goose that laid the golden egg i.e. Western civilization is going to go gently into that good night, needs to think again.

Errr...my original post, was a post in the wrong thread, hence its replacement with ellipsis.

I've not been following events in Brazil alas, however, I did catch a tweet where Francis Fukuyama was acussed of being a communist. That raised a smile.

^I didn't understand the connection that the author appeared to be making in that article.

1) the Republicans successfully had Kavanaugh appointed to the Supreme Court and are re-energised as a result;
2) Julian Assange's internet access had been restricted by Ecuador but has now apparently been restored; and
3) Clearly the author expects Assange to dump a lot of info about Hillary Clinton that will allow her to be prosecuted.

He seems to be drawing a connection between point 1) and the subsequent two points, but I'm not grasping the reasoning behind the connection. Did the Trump administration order Ecuador to reinstate Assange's internet access so that Assange can do their bidding by incriminating Hillary Clinton? Or is there some other connection being drawn? Or there's no connection at all and the author simply threw a few unrelated points together in an article?

The point is, they can't expose the Clinton mafia until the Gladio Operation is neutered and rendered null and void. Now the question is, what cards does Assange hold?

^Are you referring to the historical Operation Gladio, or are you using it as some sort of conspiratorial interweb shorthand to refer to "deep state" employees who are supposedly still loyal to Clinton?

There were even members of this website after Trump was elected who were boasting that there were members of the FBI and in various government agencies who were agents working to impeach/remove Trump and then take on his supporters. That was a Gladio operation as described.

^He's put on a heck of a lot of weight over the past few years - he was still fairly slim in 2014 or 2015, but he's really ballooned out since then.

anyone following this jacob wohl story? this is the funniest shit i've seen in a LONG time.

https://www.bellingcat.com/news/americas/2018/10/30/unintelligent-design-surefire-intelligence/

the bullet points of comedy lifted from reddit:

  • That he registered the domain for SureFire Intelligence under his email account?
  • That the main dude of SureFire Intelligence's official employee photograph is a selfie of Wohl slightly darkened?
  • That said selfie was the one Wohl was using as his Twitter profile picture when all this went down?
  • That the other named employees of SureFire Intelligence all have stock images or famous actors/models used as their official employee photographs?
  • That one of the fake employees is named "Donald Treehorn," in what appears to be a Big Lebowski reference?
  • That it was the fucking Krassensteins who turned the whole plot, including threatening voice mails, over to the feds?
  • That the phone number to SureFire Intelligence goes to Wohl's mom's voicemail?
  • That the woman they were trying to get to claim she was sexually assaulted by Mueller immediately snitched on Wohl to the media?
  • That this whole elaborate plot that probably took a few weeks to think through (My best guess is he got the bright idea to do this during the Kavanaugh hearings) blew entirely up in their faces in less than a half hour this morning?

Yeah, this is some of the best self ownage I've seen in eons.

I missed it on Monday and just read in Time that Angela Merkel is not going to seek another term in 2021.

I do wish people would stop calling her the leader of the free world. She might be leader of the EU but definitely not of the free world.

Brazil Joins the League of Strongmen Nations

"Trump’s presidency is in part a product of the U.S. culture wars; Bolsonaro’s win reflects widespread public disgust with years of political scandal and record levels of violent crime. But what they share is the ability to draw power by explicitly pitting one group of citizens against another and offering themselves as the only credible solution to their country’s problems. It’s the same talent that has allowed Duterte, Salvini and others to thrive."

She will be replaced on the upcoming party conference by another globalist shill.
Friedrich Merz was chairman of the Transatlantic bridge and is now working for Blackrock.
Jens Spahn was elected best future young leader or some shit by similar institutions.
Both are pro EU and mass immigration. So basically nothing will change.

She won't serve out her term? Her party could always lose. The sister party in Bavaria eked out a minority win if I remember correctly.

She will loose her position as chairperson this year, but will stay on as chancelloress.
But chances are the coalition with the SPD won't hold.
There are rumours, however, she might replace Juncker as president of the EU.
