Is he Italian? Is this because they are extra unhealthy or because they are the wine coolers of smoking, a soft entry for sweet-toothed little children? Or just a way to persecute a minority? They're banning menthols here at the end of the year. My cousin will be crying.

America is no longer ruling the world in quality cigs? When did this happen?Pops brought back a cartoon of HongTaShan cigarettes, much better than any American counterparts

Can the superiority of these magical Azn smokes be explained? Smoother, stronger, better flavor?
Wiki says these smokes are sold in the US under the Red Pagoda Mountain name. Web search finds nada so far. Anyone actually seen them?Pops brought back a cartoon of HongTaShan cigarettes, much better than any American counterparts
Yes. Pipes are for old weirdo's.One of my mates is asking me to get into pipes. Isn't that even more obscure than cigars and shisha?
Yes, but the tobacco smells great. Unlike anything I've smelled in a cigarYes. Pipes are for old weirdo's.
Wait, wait, I know this one...
There are lots of good ones out there but my default rec is Matilde Renacer in the corona size. They have it at the Serious Cigars off 610 between Richmond and Westheimer. What's a good starter cigar for a first-timer?

Larger sizes up to a point. For me coronas (~46 ring gauge) and toros/ robustos (~50 ring gauge) are the easiest to smoke. Up to 56 ring I'm okay but past that it's a lot of tobacco and a lot of work to keep the cigar burning out to the wrapper. I'd avoid the 60+ honkers until you've burned a few.I'd recommend Romeo y Julieta, bigger sizes (diameter) are said to be easier to smoke. They are a light smoke and don't cost a fortune. Though if you quit cigarettes and want to keep it that way, be aware that cigars are a slippery slope.
