I have some pictures of the original blucher/derby. If I found them I will upload them basically they look like pair of clogs with ears.

Well being English I wouldn't say Derby is preferred, it's a Gibson...Yes, I see the difference in the two pictures. No need to be petty. As I mentioned, the ones below are wholecut bluchers/derbies. As such, they don't really have a vamp or quarters.
The Gentleman's Gazette seems to be the main source for this distinction, as florisgreen quoted above. But I don't take that site or other blogs as authoritative.
It all depends on whom you find authoritative, a few dilettante bloggers, raised on the internet, or established, professional, respected makers and authors? The one distinction that seems to be common is that in the UK, derby is preferred, whereas in the US, it's blucher. Same shoes, different name, whether wholecut or not.
Edit: florisgreen , perhaps derby is the preferred term in Germany because English programs there tend to follow British English more than American. I would love to see the original boot designs by/for Prince Bluecher and the Earl of Derby. If those original designs correspond to the distinction Otto and the blogs prescribe, I might follow.
I just bought six pairs of pyjama bottoms to refresh the sleepwear collection. Five from Bonsoir of London and one pair from British Boxers.
Frankly I never did hear/read this name. I don't know how much you paid, but in my opnion you could have better spent your money.Bought the most expensive jeans ever

What do you prefer? I prefer unobtainium only I have, or Lotion Opaline if I am feeling like the proletariat.I prefer instead alcoholic aftershaves.
My absolute favourite is Floid. I have also Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet, Floris N° 89, 4711 Portugal. Moreover I use as an aftershave also 4711 Eau de Cologne, Ach. Brito Lavanda and Ach. Brito Agua de Colonia Antiga. What do you prefer? I prefer unobtainium only I have, or Lotion Opaline if I am feeling like the proletariat.
Which Floid? I have all. I have both the Ach Brito's. I am an Eau de Cologne collector. I have virtually all I think. But not 4711, I am not enamoured with this.My absolute favourite is Floid. What fresh hell is this? Is that extra room so that you can take a dump in your pants?Frankly I never did hear/read this name. I don't know how much you paid, but in my opnion you could have better spent your money.

I'm using this vintage Italian version I bought in Rome, but have also used the current Spanish version Mentolado Vigoroso.Which Floid? I have all. I have both the Ach Brito's. I am an Eau de Cologne collector. I have virtually all I think. But not 4711, I am not enamoured with this.
I don't really have a favourite. Possibly a NOS Floid Blue, because it was discontinued. I am surprised I don't have a photo of them all.I'm using this vintage Italian version I bought in Rome, but have also used the current Spanish version Mentolado Vigoroso.
And what is your favourite?

Isn't that Iridium highly radioactive?
It doesn't matter, in a few months, they'll be scattered all around the joint and the size you need will be missing.

Bought half a dozen white Irish linen handkerchiefs with hand rolled hems.
Bought a pink linen shirt from Emma Willis. Wasn’t sure about the color but then I thought why not. It’s subtle enough that I think wearing it will be bearable
The only appropriate place for an orange shirt is the Dutch National team, in my opinionI love pink.
Maybe one day you'll also like orange.
I have deep olive skin tone, so pastel orange shirts really highlight my face in a good way. Just like pink does. The only appropriate place for an orange shirt is the Dutch National team, in my opinion
Albini 120/140 Giza silkiness. Made in Derry...I just bought two made in UK shirts by Smyth and Gibson in their summer sale. Both Albini fabric, one is Giza 87. The pair of suede Oxfords I was deciding on in the Loake sale, are no longer available. Swings and roundabouts...
I thought your or Sarto's opinion of Albini was very low?Not bought but Sarto sold to a client, best brands of fabrics. Romentino, Testa, Albini, Grandi & Rubinelli. View attachment 40451
