WDYBT: What Did You Buy Today

I broke my no purchase rule for the last two years. I bought a suit from Malford of London. I wonder how the shipping will go from UK to Canada - it's posting to my parents so I hope there isn't any on the spot customs/brokerage charges.

I actually don't have money but I'm travelling next week and will spend two weeks with minimal female acquaintances so I'm just prorating the charges I'd spend on them - about four happy hour sessions.
 
I am resisting the urge of consumerism right now. There are some good items on sale currently. AHHH!!!!!
 
Actually I am noticing the suits I bought 3 or 4 years ago have trousers that are a bit frayed. Even my navy suit's jacket has a nick. I guess no matter how much I try to protect everything eventually fabrics will degrade.
 
I did not buy clothes today, but I bought a portable power pack for my camera's external flash.
 
Barneys Warehouse had an extra 40% off today from 12 pst to 4 pst. There was a Jil moto leather that was 400 dollars. I almost pulled the trigger, but couldn't figure out sizing.
 
Worth a buy? $250, brand new, nice wide lapels, got some shape to it, good pattern matching and fully canvassed. Exactly my measurements as well. Just not sure about how to wear the brown/tan check. Let's just say if it were navy I would've bought it straight away.

Monkey - looks great for the money - you have plenty of the standard blue jackets and suits etc? - a nice change. Would only look old man on an old man.

If anyone wants a pair, let me know. There was a pair of 9D which fits 9.5 to 10, and 8.5D which fits 9D and 8D which fits 8.5D
 
Not sure. But at the price, I bought w/o hesitation.

The next question is should I wear them beat up or try to keep them as clean as possible? Any suggestions for spray protection? I read somewhere that the compound used in those sprays is not good for the suede.
 
Redoing my spartan wardrobe with new v-neck t-shirts and polo's from LLBean. Also, picked up a new comforter that's fantastic.

Arnathor Arnathor , those boots were a sensational score, and they look as though they've got plenty of life left in them. if you're looking to get rid of them and are happy to ship them to Australia, I might take them off your hands.

At the risk of sounding pedantic, though, I'll note that they're not Indy boots, as Indy boots have an apron instead of a plain toe.
