What's Making You Happy Today?

I was so happy yesterday. The archnemesis lost one of her supervisors due to some prolonged illness. Not back for at least a month so things discussed at the offsite retreat are now in flux and she has to directly take over a bunch of staff. She's distracted!

Then another one of her cronies comes into a meeting with my boss and completely blows up, cries, walks out of the meeting whilst I give a stoic face. Thank God I networked and pre-wired for the meeting because I got the boss' #2 to agree with me that termination of the crony is the way to go. Even used the boss' top priority for Q4 2014 to beat down any alternate suggestions that might save the crony.

Yes! I can go on the offensive again.
 
About to go pick up FIFA 15 tonight at midnight. Six years running for midnight pickup, and then being bleary eyed all next day.

So many good news stories today not involving war or disease - #bentgate, the Jameis Winston attorney flap, Bill Simmons getting suspended for calling Roger Godell a liar. Its a nice breath of fresh air.
 
Strangely, I am addicted to the pains of scaling at the dentist. The fact that I can feel spaces in my teeth after each cleaning session is addictive to me.

Henceforth begins my attempt at a sober Mormon life - like Mitt Romney.

And I bought a $5 refill for my Cross at work. I did something in post about mont blanc. Sadly I ran out of ink cartridges for that pen.

I burned 600 something calories today. Yes! I can have three slices of pizza. I'm going to feel it tomorrow. I know I will.

I can assure you they won't be mocking the proven failures of communism or socialism...ever. But oh no, Rand the meritocrat was unsympathetic to the non-existent land rights of the Native American. Got an office in Manhattan, HBO? Then shut up.
 
My archnemesis' lieutanent - one of them, resigned. Apparently they were ill, dying, God knows but it handicaps her which is great for me.

I got placed on so many committees I'm hitting the road again soon.

I'm unwinding with whisky in a bar with after hours big band, dark windows, leather, and a pen to sketch my presentation for long term vision of my division.

The offensive continues.
 
Last year, there was snow on the ground to stay.

Today will be 60 and moderately warm temps are projected to be around until month' s end.

Next typical snow milestone to dodge is Halloween.
 
I had a good week. Still on the offensive at work. Still at the centre of a maelstrom.

Going to Cincinnati next week. I'm prepared to be underwhelmed - food, drink and women.
