What's Making You Happy Today?

Is she ugly? If yes, evade eye contact. If no, lock eyes with her and reel her in with your sultry gaze.

I needed to go home to continue my soup diet with an appetiser of 3 whiskys and 3 glasses of wine.

1.5kg to go! Yes!

Book came in from the mail, Going to learn how to sew shirts and attempt one.
This little green thing is an external USB charger that I'm going to stick in my car to charge my phone. Found at a local Value Village for $15.

Name of a brand. First distiller in London of gin in 200 years. Last one was Beefeater in 1820.

1kg to go in my diet. I finally get to use my Brooks Brothers gift card, but again it's not a time when sales are on.

Since my gin tasting Wednesday night, when I heard someone complain about service and being treated like crap, I went out for lunch twice and for drinks twice after work.

I was referred to by first name at three of four places and got my drink poured without my asking. They also took care of my drink dates - water, ice and lemon. Why do I get treated differently than others?

A few weeks ago I photographed a play called Dead Metaphor and some of the photos have made it into print and social media. The novelty of having my work out in public never really wears off.

After waiting an hour for "chat" support (my first time ever), I finally got TurboTax to work on my computer and I filed my taxes. Another thing to scratch off my to do list.

Holy shit, I'm glad to be done editing car photos from this week. :ThankYou:God!

I'm watching Tiger Woods at the Masters. Just says which Era I am from but there was a time just his presence made his partner drop 8 strokes.

Jack Nicklaus calling his hole-in-one and then doing it. Eat it Tiger. Bwahahahah

I know you're 40 something. I'm from the Era where Tiger dominated. Success beats everything - including impetuous northern Irishmen.

50 something. Success does best everything. Look at Nicklaus' progression in major wins versus Tiger's "where did all the glory go?"

My wry sense of humour about the state of marriage apparently made people smile, laugh and comment in the lift.

I've got a heating pad on my scrotum. This is a sensation that someone should really make portable. It's quite lovely.

Dare I ask why?

In other news, I had a lovely weekend - my wife and I took the kids (aged 9 and 7) to see the state symphony orchestra with guest violinist Sarah Chang. The program included Rimsky-Korsakov, Bruch and Shostakovich. Not my favourite composers, but the pieces were performed fantastically well and it was really enjoyable.

Is that a contraceptive technique? I heard heat kills the swimmers.

It is not but that is true.

Had it on my back. Decided to mozy it on over to the family jewels.

Do your kids like opera?

Do your kids like opera?

Haven't tried taking them to see the opera as yet. They have been to see the Lion King musical, which they thoroughly enjoyed.

I'd probably also try light opera, such as Gilbert & Sullivan, but would be reluctant to take them to anything more serious as I don't want to subject my kids to too much frustration at a young age.

I remember going to see Mozart's "Don Giovanni" years back and whilst I enjoyed some of it, I was bored to tears by other parts. I particularly remember part of it where the Don's factotum was wondering whether he could get away with stealing a bit of food from the banquet table, and he spent about ten minutes going from one end of the table to the other and singing about "Should I take some? I'm so hungry, but I might caught! Oh, I don't know what I should do. Should I take some? No, I won't! Yes, I will! No, I won't - but I'm so hungry!" and so on, and on, and on.

About halfway through the song, I felt like shouting down at the stage, "Just take some of the goddamned food and get on with it, man!"

My dad always said that operas have two or three good songs, which everyone knows, but that the rest is largely just boring padding, and once I'd been to see a few operas, I had to agree with him.

Thought my alterationist closed up shop. Got to where he used to be and the place was shut. Called and he said he had moved down the block. Walked in and he said "where you been? Move here a year and a half ago. Thought you dead"

I found a typewriter repairman so I don't have to go into NYC toting a typewriter.

Tom Hanks would understand your situation - he's a big fan of typewriters:

On the other hand, he released the "Hanx writer" app for iPhone and iPad which allows you to imitate using a typewriter on your mobile device, so maybe you could just use that instead of lugging a typewriter around:
