What's Making You Happy Today?

Leaving early Saturday morning for a six day backpacking excursion in the Sierra Nevadas. Used to do a big hike every year, but I haven't done any backpacking since 2008. Pumped to be back out there. Also, found out a co-worker of mine has been trolling craigslist for hookers on company time. Buh-bye.
Hahah. Nice. On both. Hookers and backpacking

I'm about to sign up a fellow as a roommate. Normally I wouldn't be happy about it, but his monthly payment basically covers my principle amount each month.

A lot of awesome in these here posts.

Just finished my last 1L exam. Biggest headache of my life right now: bloody ConLaw. Could have been the most difficult test I have ever taken in any setting.

But I'm done. And think I may have actually done fairly well.

Packages from Spoo are soon to arrive! I hope they arrive today!

Our nephew is coming over for a playdate and sleepover with the Littlest Miss we found a pair of Batman pjs with attached cape in navy blue for him as a surprise so we shall have 2 little caped crusaders running around this evening :)

Awesome! I know of someone that would love to have one of those and would go to the gym with the cape.

Antibiotics are starting to work, got my hair done and it looks outstanding and we tried a new brand of gluten free brownie mix that you honestly can't tell the difference from regular ones they are so good!

Going on holiday next week. It was such a long, grey winter, and a long, cold spring here in England, and the weather is still pretty miserable, so we decided to book a last minute holiday to somewhere warm and sunny. Really looking forward to it.

Nice. Where ya headed?

Greece. Never been before, and would have gone anywhere really, but the travel agent said the Med was the best bet this time of year and got us a deal on a really nice hotel. Plan is just to veg out for the week, and eat and drink a lot.

Sounds fantastic. Hope you relieve some of that stress.

Hey I never said i was stressed - is it that obvious?

The wife and I don't take many holidays, compared to many of our friends/colleagues, so when we do, we like to do it properly.

I like a man that doesn't fuck around when it comes to vacations.

A major interstate bridge spanning the US west coast from Canada to Mexico collapsed last night. It is going to cripple tourism and trade. There is a popular Seattle punk band that lives a few doors down from me and I played 'Tube Disasters' by Flux of Pink Indians for them. 'Bridge Collapses' is an easy substitute for 'Tube Disasters' in the song. They were ecstatic and have been practicing their own version all afternoon. They'll play it at the Funhouse or AssholeCastle tonight, don't remember.

Go 40 seconds in to pass the weird poem.

Look the possibilities for worse children's entertainment than a night at the ballet are fucking endless. I speak as someone who has seen Dora the Explorer live.

This is where the hardship of being a single parent really comes into focus. I have every intention of fobbing Bieber concerts off on my wife. :lulz-78:

I'm realizing how much my driving habits have been shaped by the car I've owned for the last fifteen years. In the old Maybach, I used the mirrors much less than normal people do; I looked over my shoulder because I had an unobstructed view. WIth the new Maybach, that doesn't work, so I need to get used to trusting my mirrors more. Also, the new one has a spoiler, which obstructs my view out the back window. I am not used to that at all.

All in all, though, the new Maybach is a very big upgrade. To be completely honest, I was embarrassed driving around the old one.

I really want to buy this type of cards to leave them to some guys at the mall. Some of them park very bad but what most bothers me is when some of them park in the handicap places just because maybe they have an Audi TT or a Mercedes SLK... I mean they are not even a Ferrar or Audi R8, and I still think those type of cars don't have the right to park there, but when I've seen one of this type of cars at the mall they are parked at normal places and not in handicap places.

Really hate those guys that do that. I think they are wishing to one day be a handicap person so they can park in there in a future.

My mom bought a ceramic pan, love that thing, the food doesn't stick to it like in normal pans. If didn't know about engineering, I would think that a God exists. :)

FWIW, you should compare it to teflon-coated or well seasoned carbon steel pans, not stainless steel pans.

What is FWIW? My mom is used to buy Teflon pans… but she says that I always leave a mess with those haha.

Starting another phase in my life next week. I have been on a mini vaca at my boy's place upstate NY since Tuesday afternoon. Just helped his wife clean the pool. Having some BBQ. My boy usually rolls in from work at about 7. It has been relaxing!
