Doubtful given that the stalking and threats to other members continued after the banning of Togliatti
Not really, it would never have likely happened if you'd have a banned Tog as soon as you knew who he was.

I'm not having a go at anyone, I'm just calling it as I see it. As a 'refugee' from another forum similar to this, I know about trolls, and how destructive they can be...

Well, if you would have done the first thing, there may not have been a need for the 'then after that' bit.
So we should have known he'd go unhinged like that? He may have been a part-time troll but it was nothing even remotely like what he did. How do you foresee complete mental breakdowns?

This is silly, who says he was browsing the internet with his children? His children/wife only have to catch a glimpse of his screen walking past.

I mean, its not as though you expect to see gay porn when your browsing a clothing website is it? Its also another reason why we flag 'dodgy' stuff with NSFW.
Sorry you are right. This is clearly the postings of someone sane and credible :

I think he is referring to Togliatti not Lord Buckley

Oh dear!

Someone saw that LB could be wound up. He would not simply ignore them.

Now he is back as Hep on FNB. Not sure why he did not simply continue to post on both fora and not rise to the bait.

Maybe an 'ignore poster' button might be of use?

There is one, and like doghouse, I told him to use it.

unfortunately, it would not have forestalled the problem with the original pm, but it definitely would have killed the resulting issues before they got going.
Does not putting a member on ignore stop him from pm you also. If not, could that functionality be added?

ConchitaWurst is on a one week timeout for posting pornography in the public forum despite repeated requests not to do so.
