7 minute Uber wait. Driver cancels right before the last turn to get to me.
Now I get a 9 minute one who is on the phone with Uber in the vehicle's speakerphone. He is trying to ask Uber if he can drive with a rental vehicle because the one he has now was hit by a car and he needs to send it in for repairs.
I am actually in this car. I feel safe.
I am going deaf in this car. It wasn't so bad when the windows were down but he put them up when he pulled on to the highway. He was yawning constantly before so I am tolerating the music volume just so he doesn't fall asleep at the wheel.
I told a driver to drive me 5 minutes away from the rail station, drop me off, and then take some stuff (it was not nuclear grade uranium) to another location 40km away. I need her number. I need you to send it via SMS (why? Are you closing your Uber app so it's a free trip?). I need her to be outside to pick it up from the back seat. You should call her too right before I reach there. I don't want to move it since you said one of the bags has a fragile mirror. Oh wait I forgot to make a left, let's make a U-turn on a 6 lane road.
Little bit pissed I got an Uber Black to take my father to the hospital for the day and the bloke pulls up in a Suburban and proceeds to start a telephone call. For a <2km ride and the price I pay you, you couldn't shut the f*ck up and not answer your mobile phone.
My parents are starting to get impatient about waiting for the right tram and subway so they turn to Uber now. It looks like people are going back to the pre 2020 idea of hitting "I've arrived" even though they are 2 blocks from the pickup location.
