I hate to say this but hard water is the Enemy. Soft water is so much better for lathering goodness.

So why this with soaps vs any of the others you own?Amazon product ASIN B002QHYYR0
Is a close match to the one I bought years ago.
That is my only brush now. I had the C&E starter brush but now Caltex has it. Both have proven to be durable and versatile. So why this with soaps vs any of the others you own?
For me the issue with shaving is the blades. I tried Feather (very very sharp) but I always cut myself with them. Gillete 7o'clock and Laser. The latter ones are the best.
I also use them 3 times before replacing them., I don't know if I am doing something wrong with my technique but I get the best shave when the blade is a bit used. Would try next time Merkhur blades
I will never go back to disposables.
I have no issues with soap/water. I sometimes use pre-shave oil and my soap is from an English company called Men-U. Can't find the link now.
Either the Labs or the Med Preps, they are pretty much the same blade, one is just packaged as sterile for the medical field.I have tried almost all the blades out there now and 7'Oclocks are amongst my favorites.doghouse which personas?
I tried scouring the B&B section for Simpsons and came up empty. That place is fucking ACTIVE.
What the fuck ones are those? All I know are the Reds and the Israeli's.Either the Labs or the Med Preps, they are pretty much the same blade, one is just packaged as sterile for the medical field.
You mean B/S/T on B&B? That place moves quick.

Yeah, it really does. Brushes go up and brushes go down.
Oh yeah, I remember seeing those. I couldn't find them in anything less than a 100 pack so I never bothered trying them. There was some other medical blade that I had the same problem with.

Yeah, I think it was these:I buy the 100 packs so I don't have to worry about stocking up. If you want, I'll send you a few Labs and Med Preps to give a try.
Some people claim the Meds are smoother. Most people, including Personna, say they are exactly the same, just the Meds have an extra sterilization wash for hospital use.Yeah, I think it was these:

Its the only medical pack he's got.
Why buy the two different Personnas? Do they have markedly different characteristics?
What do you say? Some people claim the Meds are smoother. Most people, including Personna, say they are exactly the same, just the Meds have an extra sterilization wash for hospital use.
What do you say?
I appreciate the offer. I'm just going to buy a box. If they don't work out then I'll send them to you along with a liquidy bowel movement, gift wrapped of course. They are the same. If there is any difference, I would say my only quibble with Personna Labs is they can have a bad blade or two every so often ( 7 O'Clocks have this too), and the Meds seem slightly more consistent in edge quality. That is anecdotal though. I wouldn't pay the difference in price again, I just bought one box of Meds to see what the fuss was about. Like I said, I'm happy to send you some of each and you can decide for yourself.

I'm on antibiotics, so this hot mess I'm spewing is really something that needs to be seen to be believed.I'm pretty set on blades and poo already.
Aw crap, mang. Hope it passes soonI'm on antibiotics, so this hot mess I'm spewing is really something that needs to be seen to be believed.
Appreciate it, but it ain't nothing but a minor infection. The pills are tearing up my stomach though.Aw crap, mang. Hope it passes soon
You have a model in particular?
Yeah, Simpsons makes great shit but I'm not willing to pay $400 for a shaving brush right now. Any other suggestions? Remember, using this solely for soaps.
I have an EJ razor myself. You have a model that does well with soaps? There are quite a few to choose from.
Damn. I didn't know you were a baller like THAT. At least I know where to go next time donations start coming in.I have this one:

Shaving, just like dandy. Really dear.
I've had dermatologists whip out the blue-wrapped Personna blade twice, and I giggle thinking that I shave with that exact same blade at home in the morning. Some people claim the Meds are smoother. doghouse those Personnas were real nice. Got my first shave in with them today. Very smooth and left me with little to no burn.
The EJ brush is not bad. Its a bit floopy and the handle is kind of tiny. Going to keep looking for alternatives while trying it out.
Why not get the nice accordion-style, or arm-style, mirror then?My bathroom sink places me at over an arm's length from the mirror. This is no good. I dream of some accordion-hinged mirror. Any suggestions besides some stupid shower mirror?
As a renter, I really can't go drilling holes in the wall. And I'm not finding them too readily anyway.
I'll check but I think there is some ecru paint that would be impossible to match...Why not? I'll mail you some joint compound to fix it if you want.
Considering that I got my full deposit back last time despite very obvious fire damage, I'll consider it. Any suggestions beyond checking Amazon or whatever? I worry about some flimsy thing that will disappoint. It's two tiny holes.
I got one from Lowes and another from Bedbath. They're basically the same.Considering that I got my full deposit back last time despite very obvious fire damage, I'll consider it. Any suggestions beyond checking Amazon or whatever? I worry about some flimsy thing that will disappoint.
You still alive? - its now 34 minutes since you said you were going to use a cut throat razor. You might wonder why they are call cut throat razors.Ended up finding my replaceable straight razor and blades, so I figured I'd dust that off and cut up my face. Wish me luck, as I have no fucking idea what I'm doing.
