What's Making You Happy Today?

They are releasing this years beaujolais today apparently. I live on a hipster street, and tonight they have a event in a few of the bars and restaurants on the street, where you can taste the wine, eat some food and listen to live loud jazz while hanging out with ppl around small fires burning in the cold.
 
I'm happy I was able to get three of my lady friends to attend last night's drinking event. I'm so blessed.

Officially it was to celebrate a professional milestone for another bloke, but of course everything in my life is all about me.

To be honest I thought two of the three wouldn't show because one of them hates the other one. She was trying to tell me she was under dressed (who is she dressing for anyway?) and the other said she had some kind of ailment. Luckily for me they all showed up and I was able to space out the two that hated each other with a man.

I for one am grateful that our insurance premiums are so high and that some of it goes toward supporting this sophisticated gentleman.
 
In my parents' suburb, the buses have always displayed some kind of Christmas message. When I first started taking public transit, they said Merry Christmas. Then political correctness started settling in and it said Merry Xmas. Then Season's Greetings. Then Happy Holidays. Even the graphics were dumbed down with the wreath and tree replaced by a snowflake or a star. Finally this year it went back to a turkey, Merry Christmas, and a tree with a star on top. All is right again.

Last week I lost or misplaced my Bluetooth headphones and my iPhone headphones on two separate benders.

Today, I discovered my iPhone headphones in one of my suit jackets. Hurray! Perhaps if I keep going through the suit rotation I will find the Bluetooth headphones too!
 
I found the Bluetooth headphones last night as I was cleaning my flat. Behind the night stand. Reversed all of my bender folly - now if only my credit card reverses too.
