Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Burkina Faso's Foreign Minister Karamoko Traoré signed a joint statement on not being the first to deploy weapons in space.

"18 audience members required medical treatment after watching recent performances featuring explicit lesbian sex scenes, piercing, and lots of blood.

The 18 individuals had to be attended by visitor services trained in first aid after feeling sick or dizzy, with some of them falling unconscious after viewing, Sebastian Ebling, spokesman for the Stuttgart State Opera in southwest Germany, told NBC News. Three were taken care of by an an emergency doctor, he added.

The opera, Sancta, premiered at the Mecklenburg state theatre in Schwerin in May. It was based on the controversial 1920s opera Sancta Susanna, whose story follows a nun facing her repressed desires."

"The government directives followed the circulation of unverified videos on social media showing vendors spitting on food at local stalls and restaurants - and one video depicting a house-help mixing urine into food she was preparing."

Fight club!

"Food safety is also a major concern in India, with the Food Safety and Standards Authority (FSSAI) estimating that unsafe food causes around 600 million infections and 400,000 deaths annually.

Experts cite various reasons for poor food safety in India, including inadequate enforcement of food safety laws and a lack of awareness. Cramped kitchens, dirty utensils, contaminated water, and improper transport and storage practices further compromise food safety."

I'm sure urine and phlegm falls under the purview of food safety law.

Smh what a tragic waste of perfectly good urine and spit that could've been used for achieving that sweet Lattanzi-level leather patina.
Some people just don't appreciate the finer arts of shoe craftsmanship.

Furniture giant Ikea has agreed to pay 6 million euros (US$6.5 million) towards a government fund compensating victims of forced labour under Germany's communist dictatorship, in a move campaigners hope will pressure other companies to follow.

Jesus. Can you imagine being impressed in the GDR for wanting economic freedom and capitalism, only to be thrown in jail and forced to make IKEA shit every day.

Maybe if Modi stopped assassinating Canadian critics of his regime.........

"'Our colleague Aygul Mehman, a journalist with the BBC’s Azerbaijani service, was charged 41 AZN (the Azerbaijani currency) for her modest lunch of soup, a bean salad and a dry roll. That’s about £18 ($24).

'It’s like they are taking money from our pockets,' one delegate told BBC Climate Editor Justin Rowlatt as he was queuing up for food.

This is a serious issue. Delegates from poorer nations often complain about how much these big conferences cost them when you add in flights and hotels and the total can come to many thousands of pounds."

Inflation..it's everywhere. All I want is a proper meal for 10 AZN.

"But drones and a few brave souls who lowered themselves into places untouched since dinosaurs roamed the Earth have revealed new treasures - and turned China’s sinkholes into a tourist attraction.

Two-thirds of the world’s more than 300 sinkholes are in China, scattered throughout the country’s west - with 30 known tiankeng, Guangxi province in the south has more of of them than anywhere else. Its biggest and most recent find was two years ago: an ancient forest with trees reaching as high as 40m (130ft). These cavities in the earth trap time, preserving unique, delicate ecosystems for centuries."

This sounds smart to climb into.

“'Overdevelopment could cause tremendous damage. We should maintain their original ecological state,' Dr Shen says, adding that the solution lies in striking a balance.

'Hot air balloons, drones for aerial photography, and appropriate pathways for observation from a distance could allow tourists to closely yet remotely view sinkholes, while disturbing as few organisms as possible.'"

"Errol has seven children himself, ranging in age from Elon at 53 to his youngest daughter, who is five. He's also a pronatalist. [Elon] Musk has at least 11 children, by three different women. Some of them have spent time with him in recent weeks at Donald Trump's home."

Between father and son they made 18 humans.

You mean queuing in person to get a 10 year visa, present a voucher/testimonial by someone living there, and pay hundreds of dollars is over?

"Messi’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, is the board’s vice-president. The other members of the board are Alfonso Nebot, who runs Messi’s family office, and Ramon Adell, who is a board member of Spanish energy company Naturgy."

This seems professional. But if fans want to grab a part of Messi-mania in a country where he's not welcome anymore...

I don’t know who his advisors are now, but he
used to have a very strong real estate portfolio when I looked at it years ago. His family office people are quite savvy.

“In fact, Gibson has rarely been seen in public since the scandal erupted. In 2020, she appeared in a video in Melboourne claiming to be part of the Omoro community, an Ethiopian ethnic group, and said that she was now called ‘Sabontu’. She also claimed she wanted to raise funds for the community. In February 2024, a news reporter from Channel 9's A Current Affair confronted her at a petrol station, and asked why she hadn't paid her fine yet. ‘Have some humanity,’ she replied. ‘I haven't paid things because I can't afford to’”

Wouldn’t having humanity mean she should be wracked with cancer and die?

Tarekegn Chimdi, president of a significant Oromo diaspora organisation in Victoria, told Daily Mail Australia in 2020 that Gibson was never a registered volunteer.

'We hadn't been aware of this woman, and we do not know her backstory,' he stated. 'She is not a community member, and she's also not working with the community... She has to stop.'

"The worker at Filmores Gentleman’s Club confirmed this.

She said she’s been in the hospitality industry for more than a decade, and it’s well known the mining convention brings an increase in earnings at nearby restaurants, bars and strip clubs.

She said she’s also worked at Filmores when miners come from Sudbury to Toronto. They’re typically shy at first, she said, but once you get them talking, they drop a lot of cash.

On Wednesday night, another worker at Filmores who spoke with TorontoToday said she doesn’t normally work Sunday nights, but this weekend she’s gotten a babysitter so she can work while PDAC is in town. "

Sweetheart, I booked the babysitter this weekend because mommy has to work the pole in front of the miners for money so she can afford your special March Break camp this month.

"When it comes to decreasing happiness – or growing unhappiness – the United States has dropped to its lowest-ever position at 24, having previously peaked at 11th place in 2012. The report states that the number of people dining alone in the U.S. has increased 53% over the past two decades."

Poor yanks.
