Not it wasn't sewn if a particular fashion or the finishing of the fabric was sub par.
I could give 3 or 4 fabrics to 1,000 people even those tool boxes, Manton and moofoofucker. They wouldn't be able to pick out the their favorite fabric in the lot.
The "best" in subjective just like a good percentage of fashion. People love to drink the Kool aide. That's what it's all about.
Truth be told that's why I don't sell a lot of stuff. It's goes over to many peoples heads.
Now, If you want to know a true genius follow the epaulet thread. He's the smartest motherfucker on SF. He makes nothing and sells a shit. It's pure genius.
I know I am ranting more than answering the question.
Point is the people who shop NMWA want to drink the kool aide and believe. Because if they knew the truth they would feel like total chumps because they are getting racked over the coals.

So true about Epaulet, I never bought anything from that store but the high traffic and turnover there is nuts. I think SVB's one of their best customers, a normcore's paradise.

I never said that at all.
Fok is a business guy. He is protecting his interests. That means monitoring other sites.
As far as NMWA and the other AV some have it better than others but everyone has to pay and rightfully so. Are the fees worth it?
To some. Others not so much but you are getting your name out there to thousands of people have never heard of your brand and that's worth something, right?

As far as people doing things for free. Yes, it happens. Their are people who do shit for free all the time. like Chorn said " Some people just want to participate and be a part of something". Helping SF is a worthy cause for them and people in general that post on these kind of forums seem to LOVE drama.

If I was you. I wouldn't worry about SF. I would focus my energy here and grow this forum. Build quality content in turn that will bring more readers.

We need to grow what maybe 1000% before Rambo could think about getting advertisement money which I think would be ok as long as they were given no special treatment.

I don't mind display ads at all. They are interesting sometimes.

AV threads are toxic the way SF handles it. Some shoe brand threads become vender image spam grounds. Speaking against some brands and the mobs pile on, even if it's honest review or truth.

SF nowadays feels like a fashion magazine; little info and content, with tons of vender advertisement filling majority of the spaces.

On the other hand, it would be said if this forum turns into FNBv2.

This holds water. I would take my thread as an example. Mostly it's my fault. I offer a crazy excellent product that CM should receive well but they don't and on SW&D people simply don't understand the quality.
I get dumped on a lot. Meanwhile other AV can do no wrong even when their service and product is mediocre at best.

That's why I would love a place that offer solid content.

He's not, but I've offered it to him either way. I've known Mauro since the Denim Bar days on SF. He's as standup as they come. It definitely doesn't come through in his typing though.
