Nah, the sales guys are very nice. It's not like they're very busy anyways. Menswear might be a booming business, but it seems most SR tailors are not really benefitting from it. I bet they get more business from their trips than they do in London.
Huntsman is trying to be hip though. They still have kingsman ads all over their shop, and there was a bunch of kids taking pics of it. It's a good way to garner interest in menswear from the younger generation.
I know they are nice, just joking. well looking inside a SR storefront is no indication of whether they are busy are not. After all it only takes 10 minutes to measure a guy who could have placed order for 20 suits. And like you said Pooles travels a lot. Not only the US but also quite a bit on the continent and probably Asia and Mid East too. perhapsdoghouse could share some of his firsthand experience with Pooles.
I saw that picture on instagram the other day. Old Angus was a styling motherfucker.

Dege and Skinner do the Middle East. Qatar y Dubai if I remember correctly. I dont know about Poole. Not much mid east for Pooles ( a bit ), but they have really ramped up the Asia trips last couple years. Several week long private events and such. Not sure how it's going to last with the looming economic issues out there though.

it is a funny place. All tailors here (usually Indians) here follow English style for tailoring. Firstly they hardly use floating canvas, all is fused and you need to push for a full canvas. But when they do it the follow also the English style (heavy interlinings/strongly padded and roped shoulders) When it comes into fabrics of course there are no tweeds or flannel but neither tropical/fresco fabric. 90% of what the they is plain worsted fabrics in blue or black! colours. You can find VBC easily in the tailors shops but all the mid range stuff I can buy H&S Crispaire off the shelf but is cheaper to buy it online.Do people in the ME exclusively wear unstructured lightweight linen and tropical wool suits? Can't see a big market for British tweeds and flannels and super structured cuts with heavy canvassing.

I remember one guy on SF living in Dubai wearing 3 piece heavy flannel suits because he was never outside.
link? man, today was very hot. 47 Celsius in the thermometer at 4.PM , no idea how many Fahrenheit, 115?I remember one guy on SF living in Dubai wearing 3 piece heavy flannel suits because he was never outside.

Since many of you are missing Sartodinapoli rest assured he has been busy elsewhere. He wanted you all to know that he has "owed the idiot of Manton".
It was a one-two attack started by his wingman verrihappy and finished by FH himself.

I won´t comment about the "vest" ( shown there)
Sorry to post, i just lurk this thread, but can´t stand a person who dresses as that, and writes a terrible book plenty of mistakes with paradoxly a fake italianate name as Antogiovani, being this Manton, calls " fucking idiot" on his own " classy elegant" words, to any Italian tailor client, specially the Neapolitan ones, as most of them are my masters and personal friends and me was before their "fucking idiot" client.
And now, let me teach a lesson to a "writer about style and/or Italian style" , the degree or studies of tailoring ( the one most of the Neapolitan tailors got) with official diploma of the Italian Republic i am studying starts with the vest, continues with trousers, then jackets and finally overcoats, tailcoats and so on. ( The shirt i already did is other degree/ diploma i already got)
So next time, before " writing a book" about " how to dress", learn the first thing on the world, the most important ones, about discipline and education, as calling " fucking idiot" to the clientele of the Italian, specially Neapolitan tailors, and as a favour to you to avoid you making the ridicule one more time , please learn about what you are talking about and specially learn education.
Otherwise you or others doing this, only will be uneducated people, those also know as "new riches"( among tons of words my education does not allow to write) disguised on the most expensive clothes around, same as an MTV rapper on a Rolls Royce.
Not only are people with any knowdledge as the one on his book, fits, but his education is obvious and intolerable. Period
Is my duty as true gentleman and not one who disguise, to defend the honour and the Truth.
Thank you
Maybe it would help if you did some lines of coke off of a turntable while reminiscing about the past with Frankie Knuckles? That's usually how Sartodi does these things.^ I don't see how Sartodinapoli has "owed the idiot of Manton" here.

just wanted to post the same thing
i see you got the same immediate sources
No thank you, I've done that too much already in the past. Except the Frankie Knuckles bit.
Coke is for college students.
I kid you not, at the party I'm at, the Frankie knuckles boiler room set was just turned up to max volume.

I think he goes by Mimo on SF. Nice enough chap, just a bit silly wearing suits like that when they're too warm even for London.
what are you wearing? john smedley jungle book look? selfie pls. cheers!
Oliver spencer grey cotton/linen high waisted pants, white seersucker shirt (2 buttons undone, maybe 3), 1970s limited edition cream canvas all stars. Kinda a 70s sporty look that works well with both the hipster crowd and the posh crowd.
you mean UN tailor?
OK, just the buttonholes (front and back?)In that case THE UNTAILOR should be shot IMMEDIATELY in the GENITALS. Could you do me a favor and make a macro pic of the front and sleeve buttonholes (unbuttoned)? I cannot believe this is bespoke....
