I’ve tried to get this point across many, many times. Israeli politics are incredibly fragmented, more so than most other democracies I know. You have representatives that go all the way from an Arab Communist party to the extreme-right lunatics represented by people like Smotrich and Ben Gvir, who unfortunately have risen to power thanks to Bibi’s maneuvering to stay out of jail, forming a coalition that gives Smotrich a microphone, but not really the ability to enact any reasonably policy other then diverting internal funds to orthodox schools, temporarily delaying distribution of tax revenue to PA, and the like. He has the credibility and clout of someone like Marjorie Taylor Greene.
If you truly wanted to make an effort and understand local politics instead of trolling, you’d take a minute and post things like this - 68% of Israelis dissaprove of Netanyahu and his government.
