Politically Correct has Become Dangerous

"Chieng, who was born in Malaysia, grew up in Singapore and now lives in New York, said Indians are not considered Asian.

'When I was down at the Dim Sum Palace this morning, me and the fellas weren’t like, ‘Oh … that’s me up there! I feel seen.’ I love how Indians try to have it both ways, like being Indian and Asian,' he said. 'Pick a lane, OK? I bet if I show up in a Bollywood film, I’m just going to blend right in, right? Because we’re just one people just having a good time.'"

Nothing like some yellow on brown hate.

"He looks me head to toe, takes his time, up and down, and goes, 'Not tonight,'"

"The two models said they believe they were turned away for being plus size. They said what happened is just one example of how people with bigger bodies are discriminated against."

I've been turned away by a bouncer because my figure skater lady friend was over 30. Also turned down many other times because I refused to pay more than advertised or I was with a few gents and the men to women ratio was out of whack.

But most importantly, who do they model for?

"Along with the formal apology, the Dutch government is expected to allocate €200m (£175m) to awareness projects and pledge to spend €27m on a slavery museum."

I await the Roman Empire to apologise and compensate for the slavery of my people.

"Caroline Jeon said she was pleasantly shocked when on Tuesday Michelle Yeoh, who took home the Golden Globe award for best actress, ordered the exit music to stop playing after it interrupted her speech.

'Shut up, please. I can beat you up, OK? And I’m serious,' Yeoh laughed, before continuing.

Jeon, a 26-year-old Korean American based in New York City, said she’s used to seeing 'older white male actors' defiantly run out the clock onstage. Yeoh's moment was refreshing for Jeon, a self-proclaimed assertive Asian American woman."

F@cking older white males..

People actually watched?

Good to know cookies are available but I was referring to whether we are cancelling the brownie cakes or whatever people call them.

Or going back to black out the UPS slogan what can brown do for you in historical videos and photographs.

Oh, you think the Girl Guides set language policy for the nation, eh? Fascinating.

No, but I am glad fewer people are caving into the woke crowd except for the Girl Guides.

I'd rather be morally correct than politically correct. Both are polar opposites.

Morally correct = sustains the fabric of society
Politically correct = destroys societies (identity politics). Individuals are targeted and forced to fall into line (very typical socialist and communist tactics).

Politically correct leads to censorship, this then leads to lies being pedaled. Why? Because it is politics and about gaining power. In this case the noisy mob silences the individual or company.

"It was also when Indigenous people began being oppressed - massacred, dispossessed of their lands and cut off from their culture.

Some argue Australia Day is an opportunity to reflect on and rejoice in what Australia has become today, despite that history. But others say it is a day of mourning, and its celebration is offensive and hurtful.

Kaitlyn - who asked not to give her surname - says she was never taught that perspective at school in Queensland. But as the debate gained prominence in recent years, she began seeking out more information.

And as she learned, she became increasingly uncomfortable with the idea of honouring the day."

And here I thought this only happened in my country...

Wait till they turn it into a day of mourning, reconciliation, and restitution.

It’s a day of celebration, but most Australians feel it should be moved to a different date.

The activist media will try to convince people of that, but don't be fooled by their lies and identity politics. Most Australian's do not want to change the date.

The IPA undertakes detailed research into the issues that matter to you.
The Institute of Public Affairs is Australia’s oldest and most influential free market think tank. Since 1943, the IPA has been at the forefront of public debate

Exactly, the IPA is a right-wing activist group. Even they admit that young Australians are increasingly supporting moving the day to make it something for all Australians.

We are all Australians. Only the activists try to convince people we are divided.

Roy Morgan research also said in 2022 "Over two-thirds of men (70%) and three-fifths of women (60%) say January 26 should be known as 'Australia Day" (link broken)

Another study shows this:
60% of Australians want to keep Australia Day on January 26, but those under 35 disagree

The school system is filling the kid's heads with identity politics. I understand they are given one side of the argument and are not taught to think critically. The history of Australia day is said to be taught from a skewed perspective.

The Australian school system apparently started to teach activist thinking from the 1980's, and even l was on the tail end of it at the university with globalisation being taught in economics class. You see, in the old days we were taught about critical thinking, and we weren't indoctrinated like the poor kids of today. Teachers tell me they have been told to push a certain line of thinking which also includes gender politics, climate change emergency, racial politics and other such things.

Look up the `libs of tiktok' on youtube to see what they are unleashing on your kids.

Old white people want to keep the current divisions, huh? But that whole White Australia generation is slowly losing their grip though.

"And it’s important to clarify that we’re not replacing Dickens and Shakespeare. Their books can still be taught in grades 9, 10 and 12. The purpose of making this class compulsory is to include Indigenous voices in the high school curriculum, to make it a little less Eurocentric."

Your curriculum and voices are written in English - a European language.

"But, instead of studying the classics, they’ll be reading Indigenous literature, including All Our Relations: Finding the Path Forward by Tanya Talaga, Indian Horse by Richard Wagamese and Empire of Wild by Cherie Dimaline. Those books cover important issues like land rights, residential schools and treaties, and they reflect the world we live in today better than Oliver Twist or Hamlet do."

"My non-Indigenous classmates enjoy the class too. They find that the literature feels more current, which is refreshing. And it’s easier to understand than, say, Shakespeare, which has pretty dated language. I’ve had some friends say that Shakespeare is irrelevant."

To be or not to be is irrelevant?

With respect to indigenous education, to be or not to be is irrelevant. It is nice that Isaiah has embraced his Métis ancestry but what happened to his Arabic roots? He is also an all-round indigenous wannabe given which languages he is studying.

"The prestigious British event had a diverse set of nominees, with people belonging to ethnic minorities taking almost 40% of acting shortlist slots."

No, no, no. Not only must ethnic minorities be guaranteed nominations, they should be guaranteed some wins.

"Updated changes to his books include 'fat' being removed in reference to Augustus Gloop in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, whilst Mrs Twit in The Twits is no longer referred to as 'ugly and beastly' but just 'beastly'.

Also in The Twits, 'a weird African language' is no longer weird in the new updated versions."

God forbid what they would do with Animal Farm.

"According to Pew Research, newsroom employees are much more likely to be white (and male) than U.S. workers overall. In film and TV, according to McKinsey research, 'Black talent is underrepresented across the industry, particularly off-screen.' Less than 6% of the writers, directors and producers of U.S.-produced films are Black, McKinsey found.

According to the most recently available U.S. Census Bureau data, about 29% of non-Hispanic white people in the U.S. have attained a bachelor’s degree or higher levels of education, about 18.4% of Black people in the U.S. have attained that level of education, and about 51.3% of Asian people have done so."

Blacks want in!

"Despite Asian American educational attainment, Asians are underrepresented in leadership roles in U.S. academic libraries and higher education, according to research by Mihoko Hosoi, published in the Journal of Library Administration in 2022."

Orientals too!

"In the video, Adams discussed a poll conducted by right-leaning Rasmussen Reports that said 26% of Black respondents disagreed with the statement 'It’s OK to be white.' The phrase referenced in their poll has been labeled a 'hate slogan' by the Anti-Defamation League. In his video, Adams called Black people who rejected that phrase as a 'hate group.'"

It is not okay to be white.

Any pre 1960 Disney is bound to have elements offensive to the woke 2023 crowd...coming from someone who helps tee up Disney+ videos picked by a 4 year old kid who chooses the ones with the cutest cartoon thumbnails.

"It was originally supposed to have been ready for the 150th anniversary of Confederation, in 2017."

“'In Ontario, we’re still trying to find our children … at a time when you want to put up a statue, one of the colonial statues? That how I feel about it. It’s just not right,' he said in a brief interview with The Globe and Mail.

He was one of several NDP MPPs who declined to ceremonially retake their oaths to new monarch King Charles III last September."

Colonial statue? You were elected in 2018 whilst the late HM the Queen was still head of state. It's only history because you delayed it till after her death.

Did you forget the oath you swore before you became woke? If you have issues with the structure of the government then don't sit in the provincial legislature.

"The statue of Sir John A. Macdonald in front of Queen’s Park remains encased in a wooden box after being splashed with pink paint by Black Lives Matter activists in 2020, its ultimate fate still undecided."

Another one...
