The same bloke who dropped me off mid morning was the same one who picked me up in the evening.

When the driver accepts and says immediately I am on my way but really he is at McDonald’s.
 
I was told by the Bloomberg morning anchors that if your scheduled ride doesn't arrive you have to wait till the scheduled time to cancel. Sometimes they want to cancel when they know by distance that car will never get there because the person fell asleep or something.

Cancelling of course gets you negative charges which you have to argue.
 
Very chatty Uber driver confesses he spent time under the sun drinking a beverage of some kind. What kind?
 
Super chatty driver with an electric Mustang. I think it was Mustang. Screen is bigger than Tesla now. Talked about EV, traffic, transit in Asia, transit build out here, bullet trains, high speed rail prospects. Oh we also saw an e scooter on the highway.
 
I've never had an Uber that was more than 5 minutes away on the app. I've also never had an Uber that took less than 10 minutes to arrive.
 
More and more driverless Waymos on the streets here. You guys will just have to talk with the onboard chatbot soon

Try getting it in rural Ohio where you are staying in a Holiday Inn next to a mall off the side of a freeway and the office is a good 25 into the interior in the middle of nowhere. Getting Uber was an exercise of watching an Uber car to by you on the map on the freeway at 15-20 minute wait time, requesting one, and then hoping he or she wants to stop and come pick you up.
