'Tis true. They've opened a visa operation in Lille to fast track the process.

But to leap frog over all that bureaucratic bottle neck and nonsense, you need to come in on the dinghy's, ditch passports, and definitely not be fleeing a war zone. Then you get the four star treatment straight away. All of that's starting to look rather embarrassing.

The Brits negligence is the EU's gain, most of the Ukrainians of working age, will indeed, be working very quickly. Hence the Dutch have given instant working visas to the Ukrainians.
