I didn't know my uni had an opera program for graduates. It was interesting to listen to the new class - unfortunately all songs in French or German.

I don't know whether I should be flattered I attracted a pair of uni girls who wanted to film and interview me for a promotional video.
 
I get an impromptu invitation out by a headhunter for happy hour drinks. Problem is I have the drinking palate of Yahya Sinwar.

I don't drink. It was nice for him to pick up the tab at two financial district places. But he kept ringing everyone to join us and no one showed up so in the end he was begging for permission from his wife to go on a bender and shoved his phone into my ear.

I felt like a chaperone.
 
I didn't get a cold last month. A year ago I had a cold of seven day or 2-3 week variety every single month from October to March.

I try to stay outdoors. This year it has been good because it is mostly warmer and every week there was a stretch of three days it was 20c plus. Which meant a lot fewer people at the coworking space coughing and spewing virus on me.
 
I had 11 hours available over two days to make Halim-e Gandom or the Persian version of Haleem, a wheat porridge. Not sure I will start my own Halim/Haleem shop though.
 
I signed up for a new family doctor today. There were 3 men and 1 woman to choose and I chose the woman. After going over all the tests and things I did all year I said I needed to renew my hair medication and she did it for me without asking why I'm taking it or going through the risks and side effect disclaimers that taking the medication will cause. That was nice of her. The pharmacist just told me I've got pills.
 
My odd lot of 12 shares of US Currency ETF finally got bought. And it appreciated during that time I converted it from CAD to USD. Thanks Donald!

If you punch the injection site it hurts but otherwise I did all my usual weights. I did drop and break my brush on my sink afterwards. A bit shaky.

I was the only one to show up for this museum tour for members today. There were two no shows so I got a one on one personalised tour of dinosaurs with a very enthusiastic lady who specialised in evolutionary biology.

I made a Catholic friendly cena della vigilia di natale. No meat. However my upcoming blood test will not thank me for all the shellfish I used.
 
I had lunch with my friend, his wife and his two girls. Met him at work ages ago when it was just him - no wife or kids. He seems to be doing well. New Mercedes car. They wanted to go to some boutique downtown in a suburb and walk along a lake I see nearly every single day but otherwise worth it.

I didn't understand the jealousy and need to covet $6M homes though. I said the thought of cleaning xx bathrooms would drive me nuts. My mate said he'd get a cleaner. I guess he's doing really well.
